- Firstly, make sure you are connected to the internet to update your device firmware

- Now, click on the respective Hardware version mentioned on the screen and you’ll see the option for downloading the firmware from the screen.

Once you are done downloading and decompressing the file, proceed with the steps to update the firmware.
- First, login to the Linksys account. Once logged in, click on the Connectivity option from the extender Settings tab.
- Second, in the firmware update section in the basics tab, click on the Choose File button.
- A new dialog box will appear and you can select the downloaded file for upload. Once selected, click on the Open button.
- In the next step, click on the Start button. You’ll see a pop up asking you for confirmation. Click on the Yes button and the device will start updating the firmware version of your device.
- While your device is updating, do not turn off your device or try to interrupt the update process. A firmware update success screen will appear in front of you.
